First off, yay for me getting rid of the spam karma footer. I would’ve left it on if it wouldn’t eat my pages but it did so I got rid of it.
It has already been promoted on this blog and it’s doing its job well, so it’s not like I’m not grateful for it, just getting rid of the footer.
Second, when I started this new post I was listening to Dark Blue by Jack’s Mannequin and then I went to edit some pictures. Now I’m back and Dark Blue is on again, haha.
On to the serious stuff! My weekend was awesome. Friday I was free early because PE was cancelled
That should’ve been my last PE class, great already, and now it was cancelled, even better! No more PE! Whoooo
So then I went to borrow the camera and off I went to see (+44). I was supposed to meet up with a friend in the train, but due to circumstances I missed two trains in a time span of 5 minutes!!! Grrrr
seriously, the Dutch train system.. sigh. But yeah, I got in Amsterdam anyway. I passed by the Game store to see if I could get my Atari fixed. They told me to buy alcohol and put some on the game or blow on the Atari itself. Muffin tried both, but it doesn’t work. So now I still can’t play the Atari.
But I was talking about the concert [writing?], so yeah. I got to the venue after eating falafel and meeting up with my friends, it was about 17:50. The doors would open at 18:30 so I figured we were right on time seeing that there was already a queue. The cool thing is that some dude came out to the queue and started giving the waiting people Famous Stars And Straps stickers [that's Travis' clothing line if you're a n00b
]. The sad thing is that the doors didn’t open til about 18:40 so I almost waited for an hour instead of half an hour!
There were good parts and bad parts about the concert. The good parts were of course Travis Barker [insert drool here] and the fact that (+44) didn’t suck live. The bad parts were the audience, screaming in my ears and making me fall, the kitlens [I couldn't zoom and all my Travis pictures are blurred, yegh] and the fact that the concert was so short.
I didn’t expect the concert to be long though. And I’m glad I could take the camera in and take pictures. I’m even more glad the concert didn’t suck. It was my first time at Paradiso and I can say it’s an okay venue
AFI is playing there in May so I’m going
It seems lately I have been able to see my obsessions live and it’s making me happy. To be honest I was a little ashamed of being a Travis fangirl because there were so many and they all seemed a little, well, scary. I mean, some of them had "TRAVIS" written on their foreheads. But yeah, sure I was all in awe at the amazingness of that man, how awesome it is that he can drum with one arm. I don’t want to sound mean but I’m very happy he flew back the next day [and not that day] because of the surgery on his arm. This way I could still admire him and his happy faces. The meh part was that he was smoking but oh well. I guess I have accepted that he’s not that perfect, eh.
The support wasn’t too great, I think it was cool that they were British and that they were chicks, but the light sucked and it wasn’t all too spectacular. And of course it sucked that everything was late, even if we got outside at 22:00 haha, I don’t think I ever was at a gig that ended so early! I won’t rant about the audience anymore, but dude, it was pathetic. I updated the Challenge page with this concert, and hopefully I’ll write a full review for b-sides later but b-sides has been bugging me lately.
On saturday I decided to do a report for A Day In My Life. It’s pretty much awesome. I had the good camera anyway so I thought "why not?" but I still have to edit the pictures and everything. So when that report is up you can see everything I did! For now I’ll just tell you I went downtown with Muffin to buy presents for my friend that had his birthdayparty that evening [and his birthday is today!
Hooray!]. First Muffin got his hair cut, then we went to the bookstore were I bought presents and The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants and we ate bagels at Bagels & Beans. Then we did some grocery shopping, bought candy and went home. We ate selfmade sushi and off to the party we went! There we played games and Birthdayboy and I won
On sunday my sister came to have breakfast with our family and then we had an "End Of Year Talk". Thennnnnn Muffin and I did the biggest cleaning in the history of cleaning. He threw all funghied food out of the fridge and did the laundry and fixed the shelves for the CDs and DVDs [picture to come]. I cleaned the entirety of the refridgerator, the toilet and my commode. Everything is nice and clean and whoo!
Today I didn’t feel very well so I stayed home til the afternoon when I had harp lessons and had to babysit. And now I’m home and editing pictures. Cheers!

It’s weird, seeing Mark without Tom. I don’t like it. They should sort themselves out and stop being gay.
Selfish.
To be honest, I like +44 better than AVA. Even though I absolutely HATEHATEHATE Travis Barker.

Well, I think Tom was being the lame-o one so maybe it’s better that they moved on without him. Plus I don’t like AVA either, and his whole attitude, but okay.
How can you hate Travis Barker?
I’m in shock :O
