I’m sorry if I’m only updating on Mondays nowadays. That is kind of lame, and I want to change that. But this month I’m really busy. I work four days a week, for 10 to 12 hours a day. Then I come home and I either watch some lame show or work desperately on my book [not really going well].
The weather is really FuckedUp. I don’t have a problem with the sun hiding if I am really allergic to the sun, which I think I am. But then I should be inside all day, which I don’t like either. So if the sun isn’t shining that doesn’t mean it should be raining! If there’s something I really don’t like about this country, it’s the rain. It’s also partly a reason I could not live in the United Kingdom, as much as I like it over there. So here’s my doodle for today.
I’m still debating if I should colour it or not. Perhaps I will make another, coloured version.
As for my weekend, I went to see Sum 41 play at Solidays Festival in Paris on Saturday, which was kind of amazing. There were so many people there and the weather was so good, I wish it was like that right now. I also saw some other bands play. Unfortunately I couldn’t take any pictures
. But you may or may not know Sum 41 is my favourite band [together with AFI and Anti-Flag yeah yeah] and they hadn’t been in Europe for what? Three years? So I was excited to see them and it was a fun show. Too bad it was at a festival or it would’ve been better. I’m kind of anxious for the new album. Curious. I know I will like most of the songs but I’m also scared that somehow the album will suck. And I don’t want that to happen because Sum 41 make me a happy little girl. I just put their music on and I’m happy. I don’t know why that is. I can admit that they’re not the best band in the world, but for me they’re just it. It’s sentimental value I guess.
On Sunday my sister, my boyfriend and I went to EuroDisney/Disneyland Resort Paris as it’s actually called. It was a lot of fun. I really liked the first coaster we went in, Crush’s Coaster. The charriots [if that's the word] go all the way around and it’s spinning and fast and it’s obviously Finding Nemo-themed, which is supercool. We did some other cool things, but most of the time we were waiting waiting waiting waiting.. and the food there was really bad. But whatever, Pirates of the Caribbean was awesome as always and we had great fun. We have this supercool ticket that allows us to go back in late August/September so I’m going again then! Yippeeeeee.
And that’s it for my news this week, I hope to blog again sometime soon haha.
