Mood : busy  Tv : Lost

Somehow my WordPress clock is two hours behind? And I also need to update to the newest version.. yeah yeah yeah. I need more hours in a day! And an internet connection that works when I’m on the train. I mean, I spend at least four hours a day being on a train or at a station, so that would kind of be nice. Now I do work on the computer but it would be nicer if it was connected, obviously, Internet Addict speaking here! I wonder, how many hours a day do you spend online?

I’m going to copypasta, I haven’t updated Flickr in ages because I don’t even have Photoshop on Nymphadora! How annoying! I better get that fixed.. right about.. now.. meanwhile you can enjoy what I wrote last week and today! :D

Damn you, mobile phones and networks!
I mean, what is up with T-Mobile? Don’t you get it, I go to Belgium everyday and NO I don’t need TWO messages everyday saying “Welcome to Belgium, to call to NL you have to pay 59 cents. If you’re being called, it costs you 29 cents. Sending an SMS costs you 55 cents.” I know this by now. Stop it. STOP IT!

I guess I should just get it over with and get a Belgium prepaid phone already. I just wish I had the funds. Ugh. It’s not going to be cheap, whatever I do. Having a Belgian phone number and calling to the Netherlands will still be too damn expensive!

Also, I’m halfway through my review of Katie’s site and since she keeps changing everything, it is taking so damn long and I don’t feel like I’m making any progress but I want this done. Argh. AAARGH. But yes. You’ll see it on Rhiannon’s site when it’s done ^_^

Next time I’m coming by bike or something, it will probably give me an hour more sleep. I’m serious though. 8:30 should be 8:30 not later because then I just don’t want to be here at 8:30 anymore.

you’re kidding. class is over. not another one til 14:00. Shite this! I just slept through the first part and the second part we didn’t do anything! Fuuuck.

Well. Actually what I went to do was quite fun! Three classmates and myself went for a drink at a cafe, but the weather was really nice so we could sit outside. I had a nice peppermint tea and from then on a lot of the cookies [that came with tea and coffee] were given to me, haha. Again I have built a reputation of the kid that eats. Or maybe not yet. [At my other school it was terrible, I was always caught eating something or begging for food. My friends were making remarks about it. Haha. But I mean, yeah. I can eat any time of the day, baby.]

Anyway, we were just chilling there as we had so much time to spare [it was about eleven or so and next class was at two] and then this drunken dude started talking to us. It was pretty hilarious!
Also, one of my classmates’ boyfriend came by and sat with us. He’s also an art student and he has a Holga and and and and he buys expired film for 50 cents, then develops and prints at school and he has no costs in developing or printing whatsoever! I am soooo jealous! Maybe next year, when I’m going to do analog, I’m going to do that too. I mean. It really saves a lot of money and that way you can do the greatest things. Ah. It sounds like a dream to me!

We also had lunch, I didn’t bring anything as I was late this morning and there was nothing to bring anyway, but I got a huge sandwich for not that much, so I was happy. And the cool thing was, we all could just sit at the cafe and eat our brought lunch! I actually never experienced that before.

Let me recap though. I didn’t bring anything except one oreo and a bottle of water, so through the day I spent.. 50 + 50 + 2,00 + 1,80 + 1,80 = 6,60 on food and drinks. Hmmmm. Next time, I should bring lunch.
The 50 cents were for hot chocolate and tomato-soup, haha, I fell asleep in the first class, right? So I figured I should have something to wake me up.
The two euros were for my lunch, the 1,80 for the peppermint tea.
And then another 1,80 for a bucket of fries that I just had, I can’t spend so long without eating anything. ^_~ Though I plan on having a proper dinner at home, the past few days I’ve been eating too damn unhealthy! Fries, pizza, fries, blablaschmabla!

About my classes.. the first theory class from 14:00 until 15:30 was art history fro 1945 onwards. I kind of almost fell asleep. It was interesting but nothing I hadn’t heard before.
Then was philosophy, from 15:40 until 17:15. I actually fell asleep for a bit there, but I didn’t miss anything important. I’ve also done philosophy before so I already knew 90% of what was being told. But I’m looking forward to this class because I find philosophy really interesting and I’m good at it, mostly. I would find it interesting to also discuss non-Western philosophy but I don’t know if that will happen. We’ll see.

Man, this was quite an interesting day. Also a day that can be filed under “lots of time lost”. I just threw time away. Time that could have been spent doing something useful was spent.. sleeping, traveling or waiting.. today.
Lame!

I could bore you with what went wrong and how I did what but let me just shorten the story to: the international train didn’t do its usual thing [aka it didn't show up] so I had to take another so I was 15 minutes late and so I was locked out of the class.
Obviously I could have knocked but I was not in the mood so I did other things. Not that those things were more useful than going to class but most of my classmates [aka all of them] didn’t find the class interesting and hadn’t paid attention anyway. In other words: I didn’t really miss anything and I can always catch up if I read the cursus. Oh, TextEdit doesn’t know what a cursus is. Well. A cursus is a big pile of papers in which the whole course is written. It’s all the teacher says and demonstrates. Or it should be, because some teachers say things that are not in the cursus [and then it's wise to take notes].

Anyway. I’m on my way home now and I have a huge list of things to do in my head. A large part of that list was already in my head when the weekend started and I’m kind of bummed that I didn’t get around to doing these things while it was weekend. But hey, that’s life. So I’m going to do my best and get it done as fast as possible anyway. Wish me luck!
