First of all, Happy Birthday Soulmate! My long long friend [since primary school! I don't even want to figure out how long ago we met, because it means I'm waaay old] turned uh, waay old today! Yay! And actually, I feel bad for not being there but I’m sure he’ll throw a party. His parties are the best, no lie!

Sorry for the silence and the confusion in the past weeks. That’s what breaks do to me, they throw out all regular routine and whatever. Not that I strictly have a routine, but yes. Right now all I want to say is that I’m getting that revamp together more and more and I am taking all your comments into consideration. An overview of socks, a way for you to submit your own sock-photos.. yes. It’ll be great fun, believe me!

What is left is that I can not believe that WordPress has yet another update.. just when I thought I was ready and everything! Also, I’m almost done with my first review, yay. I want to ask for new places to shop for socks. What are your favourite brands? Materials? Kinds of socks? And where do you get those? Let me know, so I can find out as well!

Tegan and Sara are such an amazing band, and I’m happy I went to see them on the 20th of March. They said they might not come back to Europe for two years to come, so that makes me extra happy! They have been on my playlist since.. hmm.. since The Con came out. Which was July 07. And even though Muffin asked me to stop playing them as much after the concert [you know what happens before a concert! You start listening to a band excessively on repeat.. great fun!] I still can’t get enough of them. They’re just so great. I had to share that. Just like I’m going to share some pics

Last but not least I just want to say that I’m excited about the new digital TV thing coming tomorrow. We’re getting nice channels [nothing fancy, but still nicer than regular TV] and the recorder thing. Which means we can record TV! Yay! Haha. Stuff like that makes me happy though, no more worrying about things coming on while you’re gone or even worse, while you’re there but watching something else. Whoo.

Yes. The concert-reviews are a thing of the past. Also website-reviews take forever [I really only ever finished one.] plus Rhiannon is already a pro at that. So what am I going to review? Just take one guess.

Well, OBVIOUSLY, it isn’t that hard to guess! I am going to review socks! Lately I’ve been on a sock-spree [who am I kidding? My entire life has been one big sock spree, but that aside] and I thought it would be fun to share my experiences with the rest of the world! It only makes sense! And my sitename would actually get a purpose and all. Sort of. Yes. Yes yes yes it is amazing. So I’m going to start now . Wait for it.. and enjoy!

edit Haha. Or better: Rolling Over The Floor Laughing My Ass Off What The Javey. I am updating my site and all. Trying to get rid of things. Finding out how much bandwith I’m taking up and all that.. So I look into my site statistics and some of it is just plain hilarious. Number one: apparently I’m associated with One Site I’d Rather Not Name. Something to do with eh.. bare skin and female human beings [baring that skin] being exploited. So. That’s one. Why someone would search these girls is one thing, but to end up here while doing that? Mysterious!

Number two: I have also found hilarious sock-related searches. I quote: "cheap stripped socks" and "stripped socks pics"- stripped socks?! Alrighty then. That must mean socks lying on the floor, stripped off your feet or what?

"who wears striped socks?" – Where is this search going to take you? I am rather surprised. I think I need to find out for myself. Why, certainly, in my opinion everyone should wear striped socks! The way to go, baby! [note: I searched that phrase, and there is no site with statistics on who wears striped socks. Sad.. I'd like to know!]

"taking her socks" – this is ONE. FREAKY. search. What? What? What? I’m so confused!

"lads that wear girls striped socks" – Okaaaaay.. whatever floats your boat.

"man in striped socks" and "english man in striped socks" – apparently those are rare. Oh yeah. You have no idea what goes on in sock-related-pervert-minds. I have encountered some, as obsessed as I am [and non-sexual-fetish-wise though. Socks are just fun and cute. Let me just say that I have nothing against fetishes and I'm never unkind to people who approach me on the web, asking me questions about socks or things. But as I was saying, people have pervy thoughts about socks! ] and yes, that includes men that are excited to tell me that "they are wearing striped socks" and sooo.. I tell you with regret: Yes, I have pictures of striped socks but no, I am not a man! Also, I’m not British! Sorry!

"who wears red striped socks?" and "man who wears striped socks?" – I don’t know how I should take this. Is it sarcasm? As in "Man, who wears striped socks these days? They are soooo yesterday!" at which obviously I am kind of offended. But it can also be the statistical approach, like the first example. I am going to guess.. mostly women! Mostly woman wear red striped socks. And you know why? Because the men are so rare! Ha. This takes me to the next approach "A male who wears striped socks" – but because of the question mark, I am all sorts of confused.

"striped socks porn" – This one just makes me laugh because I just envision the socks in my drawer, having some kind of sock party. Mmmyeah. I’m not going to look up this phrase myself, and I know that I will get more hits because I just quoted it, but whatever. Funny mental images, yay! OH YOU POOR PEOPLE LOOKING FOR PORN! You are so disappointed when you find my site, aren’t you? Haha.

"striped socks girl" – I know, I know. But deep inside my soul I just wish, that the person who looked for this was thinking about me. Forgetting my name and just knowing me as "the striped socks girl". Ah. I can dream.

"striped socks blog new zealand" – Ooooh! There’s a New Zealand striped socks blog? I must find out! [note: I actually didn't find any, but I'll search some more later.]

And that was it, the funny/creepy/weird things that people are searching for when they click a link to my site. Oh you poor, unfortunate souls. Well. When I find out about my newly not yet improved site, then I’ll give you more content. Content that doesn’t include adult material, or men in striped socks, or anything to do with New Zealand. But it’ll be fun! Because there’ll be pictures and reviews and just socky goodness!

I’m not even joking. I stayed in bed today. The first 15 hours of the day, I slept in it. [minus a few, because I didn't really sleep yet, at midnight] Then, I ate in it. Then, I worked on the computer on it. Then I ate in it again.. and watched House M.D. with Muffin. After House, I turned back to the computer while West Side Story was on, and then I wrote in my diaries.. and now I’m here. I left the bed twice, to go to the bathroom and once to take a picture in the mirror. Yes, I’m still doing that "a picture of me with my camera reflected in the mirror" project.

My Flickr is like a time capsule. I look back at May of 2007, two days of that month are missing but I still managed to get over 200 photos of that month on Flickr.. whoa. But yes. Finally. May is over. Now comes June. I really need to keep track. Also, my fanlistings. I’m thinking of giving them up since nobody wants to be part of them anyway. But then I think about how I love the things in my fanlistings and I don’t want to give them up. But eh, yeah, my Flickr. I just renewed my pro membership so hopefully I’ll work away that awful backlog. It’ll go fast enough if I keep spending days in bed.

Ah well, it’s a Sunday, it’s not illegal to stay inside on a Sunday. At least, not in my world. Especially when there’s nothing to do outside anyway and it’s raining. Tomorrow the normal week begins again. I have to update my fanlistings and I’m working on a revamp of this site.

It’s a pity I can’t do Flickr-stuff and this-site-stuff and fanlisting-stuff at the same time, because I’d really like for it to happen, but now it’s almost time for me to sleep again since I have class at 09:00 tomorrow. Though I don’t have class after that, so.. hmmm.. let me work on it!

Yep, this was a completely boring update. Much like my day. If I had webcammed myself, oh my, I think I would’ve killed people from the boredom. Not that I didn’t do things, I just didn’t move around much. Blame my bad headache and terrible mood. But West Side Story is always amazing. Hope to speak to you soon! xo.
