Once upon a time, there was FACTS 2009.

Niek found a new ‘system’ to show off her prints. She just kept everything in plastic sheets and put it ALL on the table [it was a lot, haha] so everyone could browse as they wanted. It worked!

This is the staple diet for FACTS weekend. Cookies! [And Niek also always has cans and cans of softdrinks, haha. This was her third year as a seller, I believe! She knows how things go ^_~]

Niek and I spotted her from our table, and then I ran after her to tell her how awesome her dress was and if she wanted to join our Belgian Cupcakes forum. Then she came back to our table, yay!

I LOOOOVE TINK! She’s my favourite character [okay, together with a lot of characters] and she’s just so awesome! This girl was super sweet and part of a bigger cosplay-group. They did this whole act during the competition and I heard they won. YAAAY TINK!

After I had my fangirl moment, Niek had hers. ^_^ It was a lot of work to get those photos done because our table didn’t have an easy exit. We had to walk all the way around… so everytime we had to stop people and say we were coming and the other would have to stay behind the table to take the photo. Haha!

I stayed around for the groups this day, and they were a lot of fun. I liked all the little acts everyone did. Some people were really very creative! As I said, the other Disney group won, but I really really liked this Beauty and the Beast as well.
After the cosplay competition, I walked around a bit with Annso and then checked out the game-area.

This guy was too cute. Very very concentrated. I wanted to take a photo of his awesome face but he was just so into the game! In the end, his mother tapped on his shoulder and he turned around and gave me the biggest smile! Awww.

Time to go back to the table, where I didn’t sell anything but had the pleasure of watching these two girls draw and draw. Niek was working on her commission [a very last minute one!] and Kate was drawing because she can… ah, I feel so untalented with all these lolitas that draw! Annso is a very good artist as well [she goes to my academy, too!] and pfff. I wish I could draw, haha.

So then I just did what *I* do, which is taking photos. [Did I mention that I came home with 600+ photos from this weekend? Yeahhh...]

I also talked a little bit more with our “neighbour”. The man from the stand next to us was a very friendly German. He was selling his own art and also a lot of figurines.

I had been bugging him as a subject for my photos for the whole weekend, occasionally asking how his business went and just talking about the convention in general. He was a very friendly guy! He had made a painting especially for this Belgian convention, one of Asterix and Obelix. I thought that was pretty nifty, and wanted to buy it from him… when he gave it to me! Such a sweet sweet guy ^___^

And then it was all over! We packed our stuff and left. I sold Muffin’s comics [at least half of it, 58 to be exact] to Niek’s friend and stuffed everything in the suitcase and off we went, all of us on the tram. We took outfit shots outside, but I’m pretty sure you’ve seen my outfit by now ^_~

We got ‘checked’ and lucky for us, we all had valid tickets! But Niek asked the man how he could tell that our tickets were indeed valid. He was a very friendly man, explaining it all.

Kate and I said bye to Niek & friend, and went back to my place. She still had all her stuff to pack and she stayed for dinner [and House!] before going back to Antwerp.

After Kate was on the tram, the weekend was officially over! FACTS had come to an end and so had our big Loli-weekend. I hope to have an even bigger and more eventful weekend next year, with more lolitas at FACTS ^____^
