So, what can I say? I am in absolute love with these socks and I want them in all colours of the rainbow! These socks are amazing :D

This is what they looked like when I got them, with the cute little sticker and all, and attached to each other with tiny metal thingies. They were so gorgeous, I was almost afraid to put them on.

It’s for socks like these that I love having tiny feet [size is between 22 and 24 cm] because my feet are around 23 and 23,5 cm. These socks fit great, not too big and the heel part isn’t so ugly to stick out of flat shoes [well, maybe a tiny bit, but I've definitely seen worse!] :D They are perfect knee high length, too! Fit right under the knee, with a little bit of space between sock and knee, but not too much. It’s adorable.

I love love love love love this little emblem, embroidered right on the side… Too bad I don’t know what to do about image quality [what's up, WordPress Media Uploader?] but believe me, it looks lovely in real life. And look at that ruffled top! So cute! They are real soft too, it’s a very comfy kind of top. There’s obviously a bit of elastic in this pair of socks, since it stretches really well. Though don’t you hate socks that get all into your leg and leave marks on your skin? These socks are nothing like that! Super soft and comfy, yet still cute looking with those ruffled top thingies. I love it!

Although Baby is obviously a Lolita brand, I decided to show off these socks with a non-Lolita skirt. See how these socks work that too? They are so cute!
"But Vief…" – I hear you think. Yes. Yes, these are simply black and white striped socks. So what?! "Of course they’re going to look good in non-Lolita stuff…" – Shut up! You just answered it, they are so awesome because they are striped socks and go great with Lolita AND non-Lolita stuff. That’s all you need in life, right? These socks go with anything and don’t have to ask for anything more. I swear, when I put these socks on, I get a little happier :)

See? Sometimes the heel part extends out of the shoe [and I hate it, so I end up either switching socks or shoes] but here it doesn’t – or at least it’s not noticeable. Don’t you think those ruffled tops look cute? Stripes are already very visual, now the socks and legs are bonding more – I think it’s a nice effect. Plus, like I said, it’s comfy!

These socks stay up really well. They fit perfectly, nicely tight around my legs but not too tight. A nice length, not too short and not too long and the right size [between 22-24]… Yep, these socks fit like a dream! While they stay up really well, there’s no issue with the elastic pushing into your legs. Wearing knee highs all day can tire your legs [speaking from experience here, trust me] but that’s not the case here. Okay, I have to be honest. Because I love these socks so much, I take them off when in the house. I am trying to keep them to last as long as possible… so I haven’t really been wearing them for 24 hours in a day. Though I can say I’ve worn them for a long part of the day and I had no problems, so I guess you could live in these socks, sleep in them, do anything you want… and you’d have no problems.

The embroidered emblem is on both sides – on the outside, so you can show the world how you’re wearing real Baby, The Stars Shine Bright socks. Perfect for brandwhores. But let me tell you something, I really like Baby and I really like these socks, and I don’t care what anybody thinks. The emblem is cute, it’s not all in your face and not everybody will know what it stands for, anyway.

I know these socks exist in other colour combinations, and because I love them so much I want to get as many colour combinations as possible ;) Black and white is a great place to start though, they can be part of almost all coordinations and I’m really glad.

Verdict: I am in absolute love with these socks, the cuteness, comfyness, length, size, staying-up-capability, oh and they’re really soft and pretty thick too. There’s one little downside: they’re pretty expensive for such a relatively simple pair of socks. I’m totally ready to forgive Baby because these socks are so awesome, and because they have reasonably figured that these socks are the cheapest of the socks they have. They’re so versatile, that totally makes up for it too. It’s a basic piece in any outfit, so having something that fits with about anything is awesome! They are great quality and I love them. 6 socks out of 6!
